BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced it will host a fall celebration on Saturday, Oct. 29, at its Cudahy branch, located at 3323 E. Layton Ave. This family-friendly event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature a craft fair, bounce house, Project Concern information booth, complimentary fall treats and great prize giveaways every half hour. Guests are also encouraged to wear Halloween costumes (the first 100 participants 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin).
“North Shore Bank is proud to be a part of the Cudahy community, and this is a great opportunity to give back to our community members,” said Suzanne Thomas, branch manager for North Shore Bank. “Our fall celebration has a little something for everyone in the family, and we encourage all to stop by, participate in the fun fall-themed events and enjoy some complimentary refreshments.”
Many of the activities are available throughout the entire event and others only during the following hours:
- 9:00 a.m. – 1:00p.m. Community Craft Fair, bounce house, treats and prize giveaways
- 9:00 a.m. – 1:00p.m. Cudahy High School Cheerleaders bake sale fundraiser
- 9:00 a.m. – 1:00p.m. Escape Salon offers child hairdos and pink sprays for breast cancer awareness
- 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. – pumpkin decorating
- 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. – WKLH radio remote
- 10:30 a.m. – Mayor Tony Day unveils North Shore Bank’s art gallery
- 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – YMCA art demonstration
- 11 a.m. – noon – fall home improvement tips from Sargent Construction
- 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – South Milwaukee PTO serves chili
Event attendees will also have a chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes throughout the day, including a $500 Target gift card, one-night stay at Chula Vista Resort and Patrick Cudahy gift basket. Also, for every checking or savings account opened during the event and through Nov. 15, North Shore Bank will donate $10 to Project Concern.
Community members are also encouraged to bring worn and tattered flags to the event to be honorably retired in the bank’s Veterans Day ceremonies on Nov. 11.
